Which AI assistants GEO tools check
We read the websites of 55 GEO tools to see which AI assistants they say they check, and how many on the cheapest plan.

Every GEO tool that names the AI assistants it checks includes ChatGPT: all 53 of them. Gemini (49) and Perplexity (49) come next. Microsoft Copilot (26) and Grok (21) are each named by fewer than half of the 53. On the cheapest plan, the most common number of AI assistants is 3.
What we counted
- We read each tool’s own website between October 14 and October 27, 2026.
- A tool counts for an AI assistant when its site names that assistant on any plan, including plans sold through sales.
- 2 of the 55 tools name no AI assistants on their site: Brandlight and Semrush Enterprise AIO. So the figures are out of 53.
- 8 tools say they check more assistants than they name. Rankscale says 17+ and names 11. For tools like these, our counts may be low.
- We count what each site says. We have not tested which AI assistants each tool checks, so we cannot say if each one checks what its site says.

- Perplexity: Discoverable says its Perplexity checks are paused for now. We still count it here. Find a tool leaves it out when you filter for Perplexity.
- Claude and Grok: Gauge checks them only if you connect your own Anthropic or xAI API key, and that company bills you for the checks.
- Meta AI: 5 more tools name a Meta model, such as Llama or Muse Spark, without naming Meta AI. We did not count those as Meta AI.
- Google AI Overviews and AI Mode: Frase (AI Visibility) and OpenLens name only “Google AI,” so we did not count them for either.

Each of these is named by 3 tools or fewer. We give each name close to how the site writes it.

How many the cheapest plan checks
44 tools say how many AI assistants their cheapest plan checks. 24 of them check 3 or fewer. On their biggest plans, 34 of the 53 tools that give a number can check 7 or more.

- Other terms: Semrush (AI Visibility Toolkit) and Ahrefs Brand Radar count the AI assistants differently. Each tool’s page says how.
- 25 tools can check more AI assistants than their cheapest plan does, on bigger plans or as paid add-ons.
- For example, Peec AI’s cheapest plan checks 3 and its site lists 13. Goodie’s checks 5 and its site lists 14.
- On 6 of them, Peec AI, Otterly.AI, Searchable, BrandAxis, LLM Pulse and Ayzeo, you can pay to add AI assistants to a plan.

ChatGPT on the cheapest plan
On 38 tools, the site says the cheapest plan checks ChatGPT. On 6 more, you choose the AI assistants, and ChatGPT is one of the choices.
The other 11 do not say. 8 of those show no prices on their sites.
Before you buy
A tool may name an AI assistant only on its bigger plans. Check that the plan you would buy covers the ones you need. Each tool’s page here says what its cheapest plan checks.
